Instead of a journal, some bullets. Yes, I am aware it's boring.
* Going to see To Kill A Mockingbird on stage tomorrow. I've been looking forward to it for a while, but I was about as impressed as a hedgehog with hemarrhoids to find out that the children in the play, are being played by fully grown adults. Some of you may know that I'm quite a champion of the talents of children and young people, and I don't think there's any excuse for not casting them.
* Then Saturday is Firefest at Rock City. I've never been to Rock City before, have you? Anyway there's an all-day event hosting the type of American and European metal / rock bands you don't normally see gigging in the UK. Well, Winger may be the headline, darling, but the highlight of the show is much further down the bill in the form of Wigwam! Perhaps you remember them from the Eurovision Song Contest two yeas ago. The singer goes by the name of Glam, and made a roaring spectacle of himself at the after-show by hitting on anything that passed within three feet of him and finally being escorted from the premises. It was heartwarming to see somebody that wasted and probably on alcohol alone. Here's a video you can watch of them,
aaand as you can see I'm going to have to make passes at that man, yes yes! * WIG wam bam, gonna make Glam my man! WAM bam bam and it's just because I can! *
* I'm up to 9,200 words of the novel called Alex : A Love Story. Good, isn't it?
* Given that I can roll into work 90 minutes late, several times a week, and not get entirely bollocked, my job is officially ROCK-ass!
* But the Chica volunteered me as well as herself to bake about 100 small cakes for a Halloween cake stall, and that's not very good.
* The scabies are dead. I'm still not sleeping too well.
