Appearance -- shall we begin our relationship with a little truth? -- usually makes our first impressions of people we meet. I started with truth and I'll not lie now: This thought brings to me that automatic mainstream reaction of disbelief in humankind. But SG, a website almost entirely based on appearances, made me realize one thing:
The value of appearance as an art form.
Of human beauty as art.
Perhaps I should have written Beauty, with capital B, as the Beauty that, according to Edgar Allan Poe, is the goal of poetry. Here at SG I found women capable of doing poetry with their bodies, their appearances.
