A few weeks since my last update.
Even stranger, well not so strange as it happens every now and then. I was in the pub with friends and one of their friends the other week. The other friend was saying that when I speak I sound so posh, like I could be on the bbc. I always find that amusing.
At work one of the guys in my office was coming in on the train the last week. He was sitting up near the driver. There was an old women on the crossing (it seems she had her hood up and either did not see or ignored the warning lights) the driver braked but not in time, he saw the women thrown up into the air and onto the track on the opposite side. The as they were sitting there stunned the express out of brum came through and hit her again, basically mashing her in front of his eyes. As you can perhaps understand he was a bit shook up when he finally arrived.
I am often surprised at how people see me sometimes (much like the issues that came up on my course). In Montreal my first day there in the city on my own within 10 minutes Id been asked for directions. Last year in Vienna I it took just under 3 hours to be stopped for directions. Last week in Nottingham I was walking up to do a volunteer shift about 1030pm when this kid runs up to me, he was only about 12 or so and wanted to know if Id walk him into Nottingham as he was lost, he was from a childrens home and had been moved there from Wolverhampton that day, and he had run into trouble with a gang and was scared he was going to be stabbed. The gang lurking in the shadows a few streets away didnt look like nice people so walked him up. He did find a friend on the way up, another lad transferred today. They were talking about getting back to the home getting what money they could and running away. I really wish there was something I could have done for them.
Watched the film City of God. I can now see why people put it in their top 100 film and I concur.
I have also been accused of making good old Assassin City (as Nottingham is called in the media) look attractive

The view I currently have when I leave work at night.

And this is some of the views I get working home early. Funny to think this is in the middle of the city not far from where I was attacked last year and where the lad was scared of being stabbed.
I really should be washing, cooking, cleaning, reading books for my courses.

Have been sitting on reception at work and attempting to read Eriksonian Approaches: A Comprehensive Manual. When they say comprehensive they mean it, for it is the size of the last two Harry Potter novels PUT TOGETHER, and good Lord, I'm damned if it's sinking in.
Re: photography, my new camera is the snizzle.
