Hmmm. Its been a while hasn't it.
Ahhh, the holidays. What a great time of year. Despite ebing called "holidays" it seems to me that most holidays are actually a big 'ol pain in the ass. Dress up, travel across the country, spend money on gifts etc etc etc. You actually end up less relaxed because of some of these holidays.
Even some holidays that arent a major inconvenience often consistently fail to live up to expectations (Im thinking new years eve here)
On the other hand holidays like labor day (or any other three day weekend type holiday) are awesome. And the 4th of July is great (beer, lakes, fireworks etc etc)
Speaking of holidays, my hair is now dyed really really black. This is partly b/c of halloween, though it was not strictly necessary for my costume. It was actually because a friend who had to dye their hair for their costume said "lets dye your hair black". Yes I really am that susceptible to peer pressure.
