One year ago today I smoked my last cigarette. Since then I've been up and down, happy, sad, mad, depressed, ecstatic, sick, healthy, loony, and solemn. But through it all I knew I didn't want to smoke anymore. So I didn't.
There are many reasons people celebrate this time of year, and many reasons why they don't. For me, this is a biggie.
If you're smoking, think about it. If you've quit, keep it up. And if you don't smoke, for the love of all that is holy, don't start!
