For the first time in many, many years I am considering relocation. And a return to an urban environment.
When I left San Diego in '92 I swore I would never live in a 'city' again. Yet now I find myself intrigued by a city only slightly larger than Albuquerque. Burqu; a city I love and loathe equally.
A recent visit to Portland has done terrible things to my attitude. The circumstance of the trip (roller derby) added to the buzz, and the fact that I have family there made it more amazing. Cherished family, as opposed to the RID's* I deal with here.
On the other hand, I loathe moving. The fact I have to change houses in the next month has me in a tizzy, so imagine where my psyche will be if I decide to change states.
If this happens, I will have to sell it all, start clean. The bikes, the skates, some clothes... everything else is gone.

Can I do it? Do I want to?
I'm glad it's all delusional at this point.
