So Tranformers: Dark Of The Moon hit the silver screen (or IMAX screen) this week.
Clocking in at 157 minutes (2hrs 37minutes) its a long ride but if you seen the first two you know what to except. This movie is miles better than Revenge Of The Fallen, the story as thin as it is is more focused and darkest of the three. Basically the Autobots with the humans to make a stand against an all out invasion against the decepticon army. The stupid cheesy humor is kept to minimum and the whole 3rd act of the movie is non-stop action. Nearly a solid hour of intense action to satisfy you. The actors (old and new) do there best with the script even though the focus is mainly the action and autobots.
Bottom line - If you like Transformers, then this movie is for you, if you want a summer blockbuster action ride, this is it, just don't except a new forumla.
Now onto music. Limp Bizkit.
One of the biggest bands of the 90s and one of the most hated bands of all time is back. There new album Gold Cobra hit stores last week. It's the first album in a long time to have all the original members (yes Wes Borland too).
Limp Bizkit is going back to what they know, spitting shit and giving the world the finger. Fred Durst hasn't grown up the sound is still very early Limp Bizkit, but one has to admire a band who still pushes forward after all the negative shit surrounding them. Gold Cobra actually has a few decent songs on it too. Now I don't want all thinking im on Bizkit's nuts, Im not a big fan but there's a few tunes I can't help but dig.
Either love it or hate it, type of thing.
