This morning I was woken up at 7am. Someone called me from Chile, where it was 9am... anyways, what the fuck. I decided to go to the Jean-Talon market (the best vegetables in town) and get some "long-term" veggies for the winter. Why long-term? Well, you take the bell peppers, put out the guts, stuff in a garlic clove and throw them into a 300 oven, wait till they smell all over the place and take them out.
You have some glass jars ready to stuff them in (remember to put boiling water into these jars to avoid bacteria), put your peppers in (once you took out the boiling water), add oilve oil to the top and stock them... ready to use.
of course, a pic from the Jean-Talon market.
