Nathan has a big job interview tomorrow in Houston; I had to shave his mohawk
But it's a really good opportunity for him.
My friend Rachel invited us to her dads for a crawfish boil (btw crawfish are really sketchy). It was a lot of fun. Rachel has a big warm family and they were hilarious! Loud and very drunk and entertaining. There was a lot of love in their house and it felt so nice to be around a family. I haven't been in a family setting since we left Ohio so I felt this warm feeling inside. Now I'm missing my family now more then ever. Anyhow, at the end of the night Rachel's dad offered Nathan a job at the company he works for (he's some big wig there). It's a really great job!! He'll be making way more then he is now and I'm really excited!
The only drawback is that he'll have to use my car to get to and from every day, but hey no sweat - nothing wrong with biking to work right? Anyhow it will only be temporary, if he gets the job we'll be able to afford another car in no time. He can't wait to be making a decent living and he really deserves it. It drives him crazy working a minimum wage job where he isn't doing anything to advance his skills. I couldn't be happier for him this is a great career opportunity.
Keep your fingers crossed!
