Anniversary celebration day today! It was wonderful.
The early stressful morning turned out all right, and I think I did a fine job of keeping my department organized and running well. I completed everything that needed to be done and was able to be boss pretty well. I am a little fearful of what work's going to be like for the remainder of the summer... 'rumor' has it (working at a grocery store is ridiculously notorious for gossip) that Debbie, my manager, will not be returning nest week, but is going to be sick and off for a couple of weeks. I'm not sure what we're going to do, just this week we've lost two of our 'first' people, leaving us with only 5 people who were trained by head office (including myself) and know how to work the department on their own. To be honest, two of those people only work nights and don't have a full understanding of the day's work or jobs. Needless to say, I'm getting a little stressed out about that.
Anyways, for our anniversary Drew bought me this beautiful topaz necklace I've been eyeing. It's on a silver chain, with a flower like charm and dangles downwards. Its hard to explain but it's beautiful, I love it. Luckily, I'll be able to use this necklace as a starting piece for my outfit for the wedding. I need to start the shopping process soon, I'm very nervous about it. This is a good friend of Drew's and since he's much older than I am, I want to make a good impression with his good friends. Regardless, a new dress is a new dress and that suits me just fine!
We also just saw Pirates of the Caribbean 2, which was amazing by the way. Everyone I've talked too about it wasn't as impressed but I love those kinds of movies. I definitely find films based or created from myths and fairy tales to be very interesting, mythology is so neat.
It's bedtime for me, I am sooooo tired!
