if i know it -
la/san diego mid-late jan
new orleans feb 5 weekend
new jersey late feb - early mar
daytona/florida apr 10 (nc/sc on the way?)
seattle/nw summer
maine/ne ??
chicago back and forth constantly

so
i am definitely
going to new orleans
huzzah
i will be there for the feb 5th sg event
which will rock
one little thing
i have no place to stay
yet
i have visions of myself
wandering around the french quarter
all night long
"just keep walking
don't get mugged"
should be fun

and i will be going skiing
the weekend after this
for the first time in 6 years
i knew how to ski well once
i hope it comes back
i'll be in da u.p.
(that's the upper penninsula
of michigan that is
for you non-midwesterners)
so if there's anyone up that a'way
who wants me to say "hi"
speak now

other than that
life is good
watched a slew of great movies:
garden state
napoleon dynamite
the life aquatic
and just finished a great book:
on the road
now on another great book:
a heartbreaking work of staggering genius
and i've been scribbling feverishly
in a little black journal
that i carry with me at all times
occasioning drawing stares from onlookers
so that's fun
what's in the journal you say?
ideas
snippets of conversations
quotes
etc
it's also a good way
to remember where i've been
