back from chicago now
catchin' up on all the sg stuff i missed while i was gone
you just can't surf to sg on your parents computer
something not right about it

so i went to a nice chillin' party on saturday
it was my friend sid's b-day
but he also asked everyone to bring a toy for toys for tots
which was really cool of him
it was at this sports bar called "the ram" in schaumburg
yay suburbs
had a bunch of white russians
and some great conversation

also got to spent time w/ the 'rents
and my little sis
she's in college now
and i get to do for her what i didn't have an older sybling to do for me
buy her alcohol

also took my daughter up with me
so she could spend some time with her grandparents
this is probably the first time i've ever mentioned i have a daughter
shock and awe *gasp*
i'm in the process of getting divorced actually
i never wanted to be a 20-something divorcee
but here i am
oh well

i go back to chicago in 3 weeks to help my parents put in laminate flooring
which they need really bad
they've had the same bright red carpet for 30 years
it's time for a change

i'll be around all night
