i read Morrigan's post in the newbie group -and thought it was spot on -so I'm going to do my best to keep a regular blog . This is partly something I keep meaning to do for self-reflection anyway, but -well, you know...
It seems appropriate to me that I use my first blog here at Sgirls to reflect on what drew me here, and where i may fit-if anywhere -within the Sgirls community. I inivte, encourage, and even ask for replies...
Though I'm sure I'd heard of Suicide Girls over the last few years, I suppose the site/the girls didn't sufficiently capture my interest enough to find out more. A mere few days or so ago, I saw the 2nd half of ...'Must Die' on late-night cable. Though I wasn't really blown away by the movie, (please don't be offended, any -but I'll even go so far as to say it was rather cheesy) the girls -were -WOW. perhaps because I'm unique myself, I'm rather attracted to non-traditional beauty. A few of the Sgirls from the movie I found -SO GORGEOUS -I had to find out more....
I quickly found the site was a community, which intrigued me enough to want to join. I love networking and interacting with people, online or in person, and I certainly hope to keep a long-running continuation at this site. I have to admit -I really hope to interact with a few of my already faves -and certainly acquire more. I'll state for the record-that, although I'm not going to lie and say I don't really REALLY like-all the pics -I certainly am not harboring a stalking fetish-or am even foolish enough to think I may actually meet anyone as ravishing as say, Bully....
And not just because I'm officially middle-age, either....
I wonder, is there a 'suicide BOY', and if so, do I qualify? Lol. Looks wise, I'm guessing probably not. SAdly, over the last few years, I've opted for more and more,a clean cut look as I'm trying to reinvent mself professionally to acquire an office job with stability. When you reach middle-age, this is important, obviously. I also however greatly desire a schedule that won't include NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS all the time! ARRRRRGH!
However, Inwardly, I almost definitely fit the fold. Shortly before my new reinvention mission, I strongly considered getting dreads. I on one hand try to avoid pigeonholing. BUT on the other, I'm as hippie as it gets. My favorite bands =Phish, the Dead, and the Floyd. You can imagine the rest. Even now, my biggest passion is =where's the next show and who is it?
Where do I want to go to close this? I guess I'll say that I hope to find some kindred souls to connect with. If they can appreciate some decidedly non-traditional handsomeness -of character or look, even better. And if one of my faves blesses me with a brief online wink or the like, better yet.
