*sighs* where do i begin? well.. *waves* HI! its been forever since i've been here... so... yeah, sorry about that. my mother somehow managed to break the internet.. so that made me infinately sad. so sad that i actually read a book, in 3-4 days.. which may or may not be a huge feat, but i was impressed.
my new years was relatively quiet, but a happy quiet, namely because i chose to ignore my cellphone all night, and just live in the moment. it was a blast! i went to see some live comedians, and then to a house party at a tae-kwon-do place... my buddy's sister's friend's parents (you still with me? haha) they own the tae-kwon-do place, and they built their house above it... its probably one of the nicest houses i've seen.. just an overall very with-it place to be! so that was a good time... stayed there until just after midnight then went back to my buddy's place to go in his hot tub... and ended up getting home around 6am... it was a good time! but strangely enough, i didn't get drunk, but still had a good time. YAY!
the night before last... (saturday, i think) i went to another house party, and ended up trying absinth... it was good, but i really don't know what all the guys at the party were whining about.. they were all.. "oooh, it burns.. its like drinking needles".. i SO didn't experience that part of it.... if anything, it went down the same as a shot of tequila would. *shrugs*
i went to a stripper store and bought boots on saturday too.. i was the happiest girl ever. i say was... because by the time i left the party on saturday (i only wore the boots for maybe 2 hours) the heel broke right off... and me, in my drunken stupour could not be consoled... haha. there i was.. one boot on, one boot in my hand, and the other foot without the boot on it was wearing a hot pink fuzzy sock, and walking in the snow... i can only imagine how hilarious that must have looked!!! haha ... i feel a little bad for the guys i was there with.. 'cause that's definately a side of me that they've never seen before... but then again, in my defense i've never owned nice boots before either... so i dunno, the guy in the store said that if anything happens to the boots to bring them back, with my reciept and they'll fix 'em. not to take them to a shoe fixing place.. seemed like a good idea, i was thinking that maybe i'd be bringing them back in a year or something.. but no. i could have brought them back the very next day... stupid hot boots. haha
