I always seem to ruin something. Whether it be a good thing or lives, it's always something. 
So... my ex and I (you can bitch, whine, moan and complain all you want, you're out of my life). I figured you all would like to know what happened.. because I haven't really talked about it to anyone.. and when I think about it, I went from being completely happy to completely miserable. But then I realized the problems. It was a one-sided relationship. My side. He only thought of himself most of the time. When I asked to be with just him for a day, I got comments like, "so you don't want me to have any friends?" as if I was asking him to completely cut off all contact with them for a month (like he did to me).
He made promises, then broke them. He lied, and I'm sure he cheated on me. No one tells their girlfriend they're "too busy" unless there's someone else involved.
Take our vacation, for example. We had a trip to the Bahamas all planned out, had the flight booked and everything. Then he gets probation. So we have to postpone it. He PROMISED we'd go on vacation, but then was "too busy" to even see me. But can take time to go to Atlanta, L.A. and Vegas with his friends.
I won't lie, it started off wonderfully, as any relationship tends to do. After about 6 months (hey, what do you know, I've said it before.. the cut off point, where relationships tend to slide downhill) he started losing interest. He told me he wasn't, but I knew. I'm not stupid.
I tried my hardest to salvage whatever was left of our relationship, but he wouldn't even attempt it. So finally, after 2 months of not speaking to me, I gave up.
I'm young, stupid, and thought I was in love.
