This commenting on blogs stuff is odd. It's weird you can't just comment on their page like every other social networking site. I grew up in Harpers Ferry, so I'm familiar with Shepherdstown. It had quite the allure when I was an adolescent punk but now it just sucks. I haven't been to Herdon, but I'll make sure not to. haha. What kind of bike do you have? I'm been debating one. I'm stuck between Honda CBR600, Kawasaki 650R, or Suzuki SV650. I don't know much about them but I know those are generally good bikes. I just don't enough to differentiate which ones are better from the above. tongue

The Kawasaki green is pretty slick. I'd really love to do a custom paint job on my bike. I'd do a blue/magenta with some type of girly design, like lace. Those are pretty $$$ rides. I'd love to tour, and tour sport crossovers are expensive though. Too much for me right now.

Have you seen the An Idiot Abroad show? It is hilarious.

Great pic...
Tell me more about your trip, it's on my list. I'm in western Mass. Did you camp or motel? Did you find it cheap/expensive? What's fun to see and/or do? Friendly people? What was the weather like? Was two weeks enough?

ARRR!!!

~ Wow that was great vestal, thank you so much!
~ I looked at that trip a couple of years ago but I ended up sailing in Maine for a couple of weeks instead. The
whole Nova Scotia/PEI thing is still in my head. Halifax is neo-legendary among east coast traditional sailors so I'd like to see it for that reason too.

~ I have the whole bike/kayak thing pretty well rigged up!

But I've got to tell you that I'm between bikes right now, except for this one:

Thanks again!

ARRR!!!

I am at the beginning of a cold. I don't think it's going to be a bad one. I haven't been taking care of myself lately and my immune system is mad at me.

Parents stopped by on Saturday and stayed the night on their way south. It was good to see them, a bit awkward too. They really liked, loved, my exhusband. They are...

I'm in New Mexico trying to get my head straight. I'm heading up to Colorado tomorrow. I needed to be around people that care about me. I'm not safe by myself.

I believed in something that turned out to be false. With all my heart I believed.
