A rather even combination of the unusual and the expected...
-Friday night we played an awesome show. It was our first show in about 2 months, and it was a great way to come back...kids dancing and singing along, and we even played pretty well for such a long break from shows. This kid who's been coming to see us in that area for a while actually pointed to our record on our merch table and said, "that's one of the best records I own!" And he told me about his band covering one of our older songs at a show he played. I was amazed, i hugged him, and I wrote it down in my notebook/journal. Now if only we could get a couple 100,000 people to be like that kid...
-NO sleep Friday night = very long saturday doing sound for a battle of the bands = sleeping through most of the festivities Saturday night, including an apparently rousing "Edward Fortyhands" in my living room (except for Tiffany, who played the Atkins-friendly Edward Bacardihands).
-Someone abusively banging on an electric keyboard along to "Livin' La Vida Loca" at 5AM is the funniest thing EVER. Almost as funny is when they pass out with the keyboard on their lap playing the Star Wars theme music over and over.
-we are the only friends that we have.
-we have a show tonight in our hometown...people will get drunk...what a suprise
-girls have become the most plentiful source of stressful entertainment in my life. Occasionally their behavior gets under my skin, but mostly I resign myself to an accepted state of misunderstanding and joyful confusion, wherein I do not try to make sense of them, and refuse to pay any serious attention to them. I am more afraid of ending up with someone who drives me crazy than I am of being alone. You must find me inside...this is my mantra.

that should end up in a book of quotes someplace... I have a lot of friends that feel that way but just dont know how to verbalize it!... Just one thing though... there's something to be said for being just a "little" crazy... Lets sport an example here...
Angelina Jolie... GO AHEAD... tell me you wouldn't rather be crazy??... ha ha ha...
Okay gotta boogie...
gotta pay the man!!
Cheers!
