Spent the night at my new place last night.
Weird.
It was such and odd, uneasy, good feeling to sleep alone.
I feel so independant, it makes me giggle like a little girl.
I can fool everyone into believing that I am a grown up.

I clearly remember hearing about a dear friend dying in a car crash> It was on the radio news while I was working. One of my co workers made a crass comment about "Kids and driving drunk" and all I could say was "I knew her". I could have said "I loved her", but it didn't come out.

today was the most surreal day ever. i found out that there are going to be layoffs at my job tomorrow (officially. there had been rumors spreading for a while though). and after work i walked into a mexican restaurant to kill time and get some food before my adult league soccer game and the bartender who was serving me ended up being the recent ex-boyfriend of the girl who i was just fucking.
he recognized me right away because apparently he was looking at my myspace profiles trying to find out who i was. after some awkward small talk he proceeds to tell me that he still loves this girl and that a week ago he 'really hated' me.
then he poured me a complimenary shot of don julio tequila and as was leaving the restaurant he told me to come back anytime and to not be a stranger.
