Decent day. There was a long stretch where IT was working on my system, using it as a guinea pig to see if they could get a new startup script to work for the company. Good to see my workstation is dispensable.
Ordered a Kindle Fire for myself today. Excited about it even though I've heard it has its problems, which could be bad since I frustrate pretty easily. Still...it's the first major purchase I've made as a working stiff, so it's still cause for celebration.
Good mix of music today. I'd hesitate to call modern rock "elevator music," but after awhile, it all kind of blends together in the background, you know?
