Two weeks can be a lifetime if the right things happen.
Something very big has happened because someone very small became a part of my life.

His name is Korky. He's about 5-6 months old and came from the local animal shelter. He gives me a reason to get up in the morning, and getting up in the morning means I've had the time and energy to tackle the things that have been contributing to my depression. A regular sleep pattern has also taken a firm hold and I'm feeling considerably better for it.
So much better in fact that I both went to and greatly enjoyed a rave on Sunday night. Pendulum played over in Newcastle and me and the boy and a few pals went over to join the party. Fucking mint, as they say.

I got kicked, battered and elbowed by a considerable number of people, and kicked, battered and elbowed them back along with quite a few more. Apart from dancing myself stupid I also got the opportunity to laugh at a small gaggle of scenester girls who'd arrived in neon leggings, their faces and bleached-to-fuck hair daubed in UV paint, who squealed and bounced around in my face during the support act (OMGZZZZLOL!!!), only to run off crying about seven and a half seconds after Pendulum started and they all got stamped on. Muahahaha.
Am I cruel?
....Do I care?

HOT PISS!
I also enjoyed seeing people who were stupid enough to bring handbags and drinks into the pit getting upset when they became messily empty-handed, I had a great time using short people as leverage to leap up and down and found myself almost dragged into a fight a couple of times but Leo kept a firm hold of my belt ^_^ Absolutely awesome show, I still hurt now almost a week later but fuck me what a night. Really gave me a boost.
Of course, my constitution being what it is, after spending a night in Newcastle getting alternately frozen solid in the street, then boiling hot and covered in sweat (not necessarily all mine), then frozen again, I now have yet another dose of flu. This time however I saw a doctor, got a sick note, and am in the middle of three wonderful days off work to recover. I've been forced into work on two previous occasions with severe fever and vomiting, so rather than try to self-certify again I thought I'd go straight for the doctor and finally got the recovery time I need.
Needless to say I'm looking for a new job.
Oh, yeah -
HAVE YOU DONE ALL YOUR CHRISTMAS SHOPPING YET??
Cos I fucking haven't!!! >_<
It's my birthday in less than two weeks as well! I'm gonna be twenty fucking one, oh yeah bitches, roll on January 1st!
xxVxx

I'm sure one day I will again. Combichrist is coming here in January so that'll be fun, if you like them that is.
Cute kitty. We've got a rescue dog here. Not sure about cats but rescue dogs usually bring some emotional baggage with them.
*sorry you got ill after. Just looked up Pendulum, hadn't heard of them before.
take care, feel better!
