Holy crap - I've actually had a pretty good day

Got some work done, stocked up on tasty wheat-free goodies that'll keep me going for a good while - my new diet is agreeing with me really, really well and although everything is more expensive, I'm not eating as much and there's not a scrap of waste. So it probably works out cheaper in the long run. For my supper I had two dark rye Ryvitas with cream cheese, sliced avocado and prawns with homemade Marie Rose sauce. And a big glass of lovely cleansing cranberry juice. For the first time in forever my tummy loves me - god bless nutritional therapists!

And best of all - I spoke to my Dad today and there was a definite sighting of Rufus yesterday!! He's made it back to his old territory - it's taken him over two weeks because he went a ridiculous roundabout way, but he's made it back there. And he's survived several below-freezing nights. Now it's hopefully just a matter of chance - either we catch him or someone else takes him in and calls us.
