Okay, so I've got used to the fringe and it's maybe not THAT bad.
I think it all just got too much for me with Ru still missing...more on that in a bit.
But first - FUN WITH PHOTOBOOTH!
Anyway.
Rufus' breeder called us today. She had some helpful but at the same time not exactly consolatory advice. Apparently Abyssinians, if they get lost or trapped, tend not to make an effort to find their way home or get out, choosing instead to go into a kind of "shut-down mode" and wait patiently for somebody to rescue them. That'll teach you to buy a cat descended from the variety that used to be worshipped in Egypt. Fuck sake.
So - I've had a day off from looking for him today. My feet have turned into giant blisters from the amount of walking I've been doing, and the worry won't be doing me any good. I'm already looking extremely pale and tired. So I left it in the lap of the gods - new start tomorrow, knocking on doors and asking if I could please look in people's sheds. Oh boy.
I've been feeling the urge to draw a lot recently, I think I'll try settling down tonight and doing some portraits of the rats
I just wanted to say ♥thank you all so much&hearts for your concern and kind comments, it really does make a difference. Love to all of you
