I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who commented on my set currently residing in the Hopefuls section. Some of you made me feel warm inside, some of you genuinely helped me get a better grasp of what's required. Most comforting was that it seemed I hadn't got it THAT wrong, which was encouraging.

So, next time - better setting, whether it be the same place with some more interesting stuff to play with or a different place altogether; more care taken with how the light is from outside...and a much better camera. I now have access to a fantastically expensive lump of computer-with-a-lense-attached that can make a snapshot of a biscuit look like the fucking Mona Lisa.

Okay it's not that good - but it's a million leagues ahead of my little digital camera, much as I love it, poor dear.

Here's to Attempt Number Two.....
