Oh well, actually the parents turned out to be racist. Apparently he shouldn't consider me for a long-term relationship because middle-eastern women are not trustworthy. It's their loss to not have me as a friend. Anyways, he cares for me and is shocked by their stupidity.

Sorry to hear about troubles with ignorant parents. But there is justice for them. In this shrinking world, people with irrational prejudices isolate themselves, ending up as embarassments that no-one wants to visit in the retirement home.
But,,, this does give you compliment of being chosen over his family.
Kill 'em with kindness, and make them feel like dumb animals with every smile you give them.

I've only been to 'mauryale' once and I loved it. Well, actually most of my stay was at a club in laval called redlight, but we did spend alot of time in the city looking for a hotel at 10:30am after leaving redlight. I know, its crazy, I live 1 1/2 hrs away in Ottawa, and only been there once.
Quebec is cool, I mean, is there any other place in the world that needs to have 4 sex shops on every block (almost like its a bylaw or something).
My wife and I have been seriously considering moving there.

It's funny, but scent can really be a powerful motivator. I had an ex who'd invite me to sleep over every week or two despite the fact that I was an ex and that almost everything about me had come to set her teeth on edge. We eventually discovered that she'd feel this impulse to invite me over whenever my scent had entirely faded from her bedroom. She'd change her bedding, have an unsettled night or two, and then have this desire to have me sleep over.
