The rose philosophy was followed by a pure mental connection from my boyfriend! Two hours after I had written that comment, he showed up with a dozen roses and it wasn't even valentine's day yet!!! I wonder if he's a secret member of suicidegirls and read my journal.... that would be awkward since there are things that I write in here that I really don't want him to know for his own psychological well being. hehe....
Anyhow, I was reading Plato's Symposium and it's quite interesting since the whole dialogue is centered around discussing the praise that we ought to give to Love. I still have to think about my own definition but if I would have to classify right now I don't think I can ever love anybody as much as my mother. Any comments on the praise we ought to give love?
Nietzsche wrote: Aristotle said that man ought to be either a beast or a god to be able to live alone. There is a third option: he can be both - a philosopher.
I'm out.

Instead of praising love, I'll praise you: from your one photo, I'd say you are very beautiful. And it sounds like you are in love with the idea of love, but not in love, IMHO.
Maybe it's time for this rose to blossom? More pictures, please!
