so... you get to these places sometimes... somewhere just one step beyond the troubles, just one instant before the fog lifts.

so... sometimes these places are almost worse than the troubles. At least with the troubles you have a direction, a goal... yeah I suppose I'm one of those... one of those goal-oriented guys... seem to need something to goad me on...

anyway... sometimes you're in this strange place where you just got through some shit, some really bad shit... you're here but you don't know exactly where and you don't know exactly where to go next...

it's almost worse than the troubles... almost... not quite... goddamn I'm glad I'm here and not there...
