So......I woke up this morning at 6:15. I am not exactly a ball of sunshine first thing in the morning and am not very alert. My room is in the basement of my house so I'm walking towards the stairs without the lights on and all of a sudden I step in a HUGE puddle of water!!!!! 
All I could manage to do is say, quite loudly, "WHAT THE F***!!????!!!" to which my dog responded by coming down the stairs to investigate. I turned the light on and part of my basement is flodded with water. We had a ton of snow this winter and the past few days it has been warmer and raining a ton, added together equals a good amount of water that the ground can't handle soaking it all up. So my wake up call this morning was using a shop vac to vacuum water off my basement floor in my bright yellow bumble bee rain boots, PJ shorts and top. Very sexy if I do say so myself haha. Hope everyone else had a better morning than I did!
