So i gots a call today some some asian lady called Eva telling me that i got the care giving job.
So yay.
I start next Monday.
Soooo pretty much first week is orientation, then the next week is full on training, then the last week is training in a hospital/rest home etc in the area.
First week winz pay, then the two weeks after its paid training $12.55 an hour. 9am - 4pm.
So thats interesting. She was saying how proud she was of me because so many people turned up and applied but i got picked.
About 50 people and only 15 got picked i think.
I actually didn't think i would get picked. So ha.
Um they do nursing scholarships too. That would be rad.

Its funny since i was 7 i wanted to be a nurse.
I studied all the right subjects and school and knew where i was going to study.
But they teenager angst set in and i thought "fuck it, fuck people" so i decided to study things that were interesting to me, but didn't take it seriously as a career.
Like music, hairdressing and make up.
And now after all the fucking around i seem to be heading in the same direction i was heading in for many years.
Makes me chuckle a little.
