Dear Blog,
Right, so I've become seriously obbsesed with a show called Torchwood. For anyone who is unaware, this is a spin-off of Dr Who. If you don't know about The Doctor, there's very little I can do for you. Anyway, Torchwood only aires on BBC3, but thanks to the wonders of the internet, I can watch burned DVD copies here in the states (yay!).
I realize that the first season has come and gone, but I've only just finished episode 8 (I believe) last night. It's called "Random Shoes" and is the one with the alien eye and the ghost boy. I found it to be quite good, except for the fact that the end made no bloddy sense to me atall.
I also relaize that there is a whole group dedicated to this show (I'm a member), and could just as easily post my thoughts in this group (and would probably be better off for it, because I have no idea how many people who read this will have the foggiest idea as to what I'm talking about)... truth be told, the group pretty much badmouths each episode, and that's not much fun for me. (not to mention all the bloomin spoilers).
On a rather compleatly different note, I was having a bit of a problem in my last blog. I tried to reply to the messages that some of you wonders out there had left me, but was having trouble getting my replys to post under the message I was replying to (if that makes sense). I tried "reply" and "link" but just couldn't figure it out. Then of course, like an idiot I posted something very similar to this paragraph at the bottom of my last blog (now who on Earth is going to read that?) Ah well... any help is greatly appreiciated.
Haha, I love it when I fill up so much space talking about so very little.
Anyway, below are the responses that I had so much trouble with. Hopefully the same people I'm anwering will read this. If not, oh well..
1. Yes, Manko is a rockstar.
2.Yes, that was my very first "quick peek" to see what SG chat was about, and to be honest it didn't seen like there was too much goin on in there which is why I left so quickly, without even chatting at all.
3. I do like West Side Story quite a bit, yeah. I find R&J to be a bit more... passionate perhaps? Dunno.
Well, that's it then. Stay tuned next time - for more wacky ravings and kooky rants from yours truly.
Xoxox,
Verona

yeah, i remember seeing West Side Story for the first time in 9th grade in my english honors class, and that scene (Gee Officer Krupke) stuck out the most for me! definitly one of my favorites.
you know, i've never seen Sweeney Todd, but I only know about it through the movie Jersey Girl, as the little girl and Ben Affleck and Liv Tyler did that for the little girl's talent show or something like that. The song they sang was awesome, I would love to see it someday!
haha, i just got something's coming stuck in my head right now.
"could it be? yes it could, something's coming, hope its good, if i cannnn waiiitttt"
i have the soundtrack on my iPod, i think I'm gonna listen to it today!
so how are you Madam' Verona?
hope everything is going well with you.
