I thought with the coming of my latest set, Sea Hag by @michaelmae, I'd post a little update!
I'll try to keep the writing brief and the photos plentiful, I know this day in age we find it near impossible to get through all of those messy letters.. ;P
At the very beginning of the year I either slightly tore or badly strained a tendon in my hand, so I spent the first two months of the year sitting on the bench. Now, I've finally healed enough to be able to start training again and pulling (moderately) hard on rocks! I'm thrilled and a little overwhelmed by the set back, but I'm trying to come back smarter and train my tendons as much as my muscles.
I even have a climbing trip planned for this upcoming weekend! I'm thrilled to go get on some premium stone. <3
I've had the chance to expand my exploring and spend time with people I don't normally. @lillianrose and I got together to shoot some photos before she took off to beautiful Costa Rica, and after she invited me to join her on a whale watching boat. We spend the day in the middle of thousands of dolphins and a few gray whales.
I am so glad her an I were able to spend some time together before she left. <3
Last week I had the joy of having Nicole Vaunt, @corwinprescott, and their lovely friend AlaskanAmberRose stay with me, we shot, ate a lot, and climbed. They are such wonderful people. Days are always brightened by their presence. And I absolutely can't wait to share what we shot together. It's going to be spectacular.
Ghost has been as perfect as ever. He fills my life with such joy. He's a little crazy still, but he is only a year old. So I'm sure he'll settle down in 2-10 years. hah
I've been shooting the occasional awesome thing too! Above, my bestie, in all of her 70's glory. Below, my hair dresser and her man, looking hot AF through the window of their gorgeous down town loft.
Speaking of hair dresser, my hair is almost the same color as Ghost's ToT
I'm really excited.....
Coming up in the relatively near-ish-ish future, is a set by @thelabrat, and the reason Malnm and I took a queue from the 60's.
