I absolutely miscounted and thought my newest set, Onyx, came out today sometime. Imagine my surprise when I logged on this morning to see it already up and full of your love and sweet kind words! I definitely felt loved! ^_^ I'll tell you what, @Anemona did an awesome job making me feel pretty!
Oh, not only this new set, but you guys were all so extraordinarily kind and lovely with regards to @Kemper and my last set, Last Lov <3 That set was definitely bitter sweet, but I'm so glad we got to @Sawa to get it shot before @Kemper's farewell set.
(here's a little late StarWars Day shot of my lady and I)
Well if you don't follow me on Instagram you might be wondering what I've been up to lately!
Ghost, my little weimaraner pup, has been taking up a ton of my time! He's just wonderful, and handful, but a wonderful handful ;P
He's pretty damn photogenic! Here are a couple pretty cute shots from the last couple weeks:
He's such a little dog babe! I can hardly stand it. And for reference, check this out!
He's shootin up like a weed!!! I can't wait until he's a year old and I have all of these pictures to look back and compare ToT
For those of you with an instagram, you can follow Ghost's personal account, for your daily dose of derpy adorable at @ghostblackbird
Ghost really has acted as a bit of a muse for me, photographically speaking, and was inspired to try and persue something I've always thought about in the back of my head. I'm just now submitting my photographic resume to a few local magazines (primarily pet ones) in hopes to become a staff or go to freelance photographer for them. That aside I've begun conversations to start voulenteering at the local (and enormous) humane society to take portraits of the animals for adoption. I figured it would be a great way to help out, even just a little bit. This photo is from my friends puppy training classes graduation ^_^
tooooooo cute!!
Also, in recent news, I got myself a rotary tool, so that I can do some really really important stuff...
And I thought this was too neat to not share. My favorite photographer, Halfanese, and I collaborated with Project Wildsong for a shoot a little while ago. We will be offering prints from it very soon, and a portion of the proceeds will go back to the wolf rescue.
Until then though, you can view a few more of those pictures on Venomblackbird.com
I'll keep it short and sweet for now! Again, for those of you who have given me all of the set love, you're the best!
Talk to you all very soon!
xoxo
