On to the rock climbing portion!

I've managed to get outside on a few trips to some Southern California climbing areas:

A friend at the gym I frequent took myself and my best friend out to learn how to start sport climbing on real rocks!

To be honest, it was pretty scary. I am pretty afraid of heights and being outdoors on natural stone amplifies that! I'm looking forward to getting into it more, but man, it's going to be scary. haha

So I recently took a temporary job working with horses again. Unfortunately it wasn't a situation that lent itself to being long term for me, but it was great while it lasted. It made me realize how much I missed horses. In retrospect, I don't think I will be able to work with horses for a while still, I can't set aside the ambitions I once held when my life was only riding. Hopefully one day I'll be able to just have fun with it and not take it so serious and competitively, but as for now, that's not in the cards for me.

All of that said, these sum up my time spend working for the 2 months I did:

I do miss all of the friendly puppies and being able to use my extensive equine knowledge daily.. But hopefully one day I will find a situation that fits me more appropriately,.
