enjoy at your own risk
Alright folks, Comicon happened, and if you weren't able to go enjoy it yourself, feel free to live vicariously through the following pictures:
Tuesday T-42 hours before Comicon opens door to the public.

This is where comicon starts, before it is unpacked and arranged.

The first bum to touch down on the SG merch table.

Layout of the weeks line up.
Wednesday, Preview night, T-16 hours before Comicon officially opens.

The booth looking lovely.

The ladies looking lovelier.

Thursday, Day 1 of SDCC

I decided to pull out the outfit from my Khaleesi set to romp around in for the first day.

Many horrid and confused looking candids floating around the web now, I'm sure.
Friday, Day 2
Some of the ladies and I decided to pay a tribute to the Power Ranger's in some slinky PR dresses.

I had a chance to meet the brilliant author of, "the man inside me", and his lovely wife.

I also got my little leaf for a few days!

I don't have any photos from it, but believe it or not, I actually went out and spent some time at the SG party that night.
Saturday, Day 3
I payed homage to my favorite anime, Ghost in the Shell, with my Major Kusanagi cosplay.

Long lost family member.

I watched this guy play some game for waaay too long while Kemper and I were trying to look inconspicuous while waiting for an opening to dash into the line for Blizzard, to score my nephew a con exclusive transforming Zurgling plush, which I now feel sad I didn't manage to keep for myself.

Sunday, Day 4, the final day.
I pulled out all the stops on my cosplay for this day. I had Jane Doe Latex create a Silk Spectre II for me to wear. It turned out incredible.

However, wearing a latex body suit poses some problems in functionality...

But the pro's definitely outweighed the cons.

I found myself a Rorschach.

Met, Tim Vigil, handed over a SG Book and bought a couple amazing pieces.
I think I might shoot a set in that..... O_O

And good god try to wear often while riding.
If that wasn't crazy enough, I jumped right off of the Comicon high, jumped in the car, and headed north for the high desert for the week!

I'll keep the words to a minimum

We went early and found a seat at a little diner that specializes in pies. The pies are made from 3-6 in the morning and are ready at 10:30. No one knows what kinds of pies or how many. We watched the pie master come out, and silently write down the pies that had been made. It was so fun listening to the diner full of people oooh and ahh and sometimes yelp out in distress when the red "not yet ready" dot was drawn next to one of the pies.

Needless to say, the coffee was like rocket fuel and the pie was heavenly.
That fueled our trek back down the mountain, and back home.

The difficult part starts now! I have to focus, do work, be responsible, in so many words snap out of vacation mode and back into real life!

Luckily I have one more day of being spoiled.
July 31st has come again, and tomorrow is my birthday! I haven't made a single plan nor have I announced it to my friends, so I think it will be a nice quiet day maybe hiking, climbing, or looking for fancy colored fish in the ocean

An awesome customer gave me this shirt as an early birthday present!
In the mean time you can peek at my bum in, Stark:

say hey to:
Daila in The Hardest Button To Button:

and Aleena in Resurgence

snatch up prints

And lastly, if you can, go take a look at Sawa's travel diary and help her with her next project!
I think I will put together a review of sorts from my bouldering trip in the next week or two, but until then, have a lovely rest of your week!
