Not sure if you read my last entry, however, I am in the middle of a small transformation, if I am able to maintain the fortitude that is!
I'm trying to retrain my turbulent self to take full advantage of the beauty my life is blessed with as apposed to seeking refuge in the pessimism that easily spoils me.

All i can say is this, old habits are very hard to break.

I believe I did an alright job this last week. I was sick for most of it but even then I tried hard to keep moving in the right direction!

I started the week, as many other, mourning the loss of the revolutionary, Steve Jobs.

I found this quote inspirational, "Remembering you're going to die is the best way , I know , to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to loose." -Steve Jobs

Embracing the gray weather that was stuck looming I found a new tea shop in my area and expanded my collection!

Pulled out one of my rainy day projects and created a plant terrarium.


By the way, I am so enjoying my attempts at gardening. It feels surprisingly rewarding!


My animals were trying very hard this week to keep me in high spirits while sick:

Very hard.

They even tried saving me from over exerting myself by keeping me off my yoga mat..


Fire gazing is always feasible.


I have been working on my pie crusts

Braided Crust.

Not sure what to call this one, but i enjoyed it.

I am taking extreme advantage of the pumpkin and gourd season, here is my current house count:





I'm even drawing them..


I purchased a typewriter after months of searching


And I persevered through 3 horribly upsetting days at work, and came out as far on top as possible!



Oh yeah, I found an amazing moon night light! Its about the size of a large hand ball halved, and you can set it to the correct wax or wane phase the moon is in!

I am in love.


Fog machines are fantastic.

Fevers and Mirrors shot by the amazing Milloux is in MR tomorrow!

I am really excited to see how its received. It was hands down the most alluring I have felt during a shoot so far, so hopefully that shows through smile

P.S. I watched the movie Lila Says tonight with a friend, its amazing. Absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend this one!
