I did a painting the other week with a woman stretching, looking anorexic and elongated. Mostly her face and torso shows on a 12 x 36 canvas. Each time that I went to paint her it would creep me out. My own creation was starting to scare me! Finally as I finished the piece (in the daytime), I gave it to a company that wanted to put it on their website. They contacted me a few days later saying they couldn't take the picture because each time they would try it would come out very blury. They tested their camera on other subjects and everything was fine. They could not get a clear shot of this piece! Once it was returned I propped it against the wall of my bedroom. I keep dreaming about this exotic beautiful/ugly woman in the painting. Of course it's all a coincidence but damn it's fun to imagine that I could create something with powers or something!
