I have currently been thrown into the position of being in charge of my work area, no training, very little guidance.
I can handle my superiors not giving me advice when i ask for it. I can handle them being "too busy" to train their staff.
I can even handle them being rude in a professional setting a context.
But DO NOT throw my mental health issues in my face when you feel uncomforatble with me asking questions on professional matters. Things like - "it's all in your head" and "you need to go back to getting help" being said by someone who has NO idea what they are on about, EXCEPT from professional development seminars, can go FUCK THEMSELVES.......
I have worked VERY HARD the last 2 years to sort my shit out, professionally as well as personally, (and I have done well, which is why I have been asked to do 2 higher jobs in the next 12-24 months by the fucking director!).... and yet... more than once.... this person throws it in my face. Also, this person, knows intimately the shit I have pushed through to get where I am today, personally and professionally.
I have a meeting tomorrow with another senior staff member, who also find this stuff offensive, as she has walked in my shoes. I will probably just vent and complain, but she said that we will discuss more formal ways of handling this sort of thing.
After being in tears for the last 2 hours, now, I am fucked off so much.
