There's a scene in this movie where Hanks hits a guy with a phone book after asking him "you ever reach out and touch somebody?" That's about the extent of this segue. I'd guess I could clean it up a little with a all-encompassing "it's all connected," but I think I've played that hand enough in my day.

I think those Betty Davis records have just come back into print. Pick em up before they disappear again! The Clash's White Riot seems to be my one and only shower song.
