It's kind of a wierd holiday season. Could the end be very far away?

WHO THE HELL could possibly need one of these? What kind of person feels that reaching for the remote control is too onerous a burden? Who sits in an enshrouded circle with their family roasting marshmallows at night, anyway? It's kinda creepy.

-Worker dies in Walmart Stampede. Not a lot to say about that event. As a proud American, I just felt the need to bring it up again.

-Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood has started a letter writing campaign asking the country's top toy manufacturers to stop marketing their toys to children. Yeah, good luck with that. tongue

-Was driving around today and saw some guys dressed in Santa suits with signs hawking baubles for some local jewelry store. It got me wondering if this ever really works. Does someone driving along see these guys and suddenly think "Oh shit yeah, I'll have some of that." It must work. Kind of like those roadside "jerky" signs which I mentioned a while back. The world works in mysterious ways.

-Got my Christmas tree up and decorated today. You can all start puking now. puke

Ha! Roadside jerky! There's a lot of that down this way. Especially those "Fresh Mayhaw Jelly!/Homemade Tamales!" signs; people selling confederate flags too. Uhh... Wallyworld. I hate the lighting they have in their stores. Sometimes I just get in my pajamas and go in Wal-Mart if I need something but am too lazy to dress up. The logic being - "It's Walmart! Who gives a rat's @55." Your Christmas tree is probably neat-o! My step-grandfather just bought one with the lights already on it (Yes, in the package, haha!); came home, and turned it on. ZING! Kind reminds me of that leg lamp from you know what. Too bad about the guy who died and the fact that they won't be able to nap anyone for manslaughter or negligence. It is terrible. But, on another subject biggrin to you! Sorry, I can't help myself with the exclaimation points!
