Hey guys!
So in two weeks I'll be travelling to Brazil for a two weeks stay, wich I am exstatic about! But I want this trip to go smoothly and, even if I know that Brazil is a beautiful, beautiful place, I know that it can be dangerous too (just like everywhere else, I know, but let's face it: maybe a little more dangerous than some places).
I already read about not wearing jewelry, no smartphone, no nothing that makes you look like a rich gringo. Of course I read about favelas, and I dont intend to go there anyway. One thing I really wanna be aware of is scamming, as I know, being a tourist, lots of people will try to scam me and my hubby.
So about scamming?
Also, a little scam-related, where should I change my money? Is it better to go to a bank, the airport, or do it before we leave?
And, I was wondering about medication. Not only contraceptive pills, but can I bring Immodium and Gravol?
P.S : For those of you who would like to tell me to do some researches, I did. Plenty. But the internet is full of contradictory informations. I read any pain killers and prescriptions are highly forbidden. And then read that's it's better to bring some. By that, I also wanna point out that I only need help if you live there, have been there, or are absolutely sure of what you're saying! I will be seeing a travel agent for the same questions but I wanted to ask anyway.
Thank you so, so much! And if you have any other tip about going to Brazil, make sure to tell me :)
