Today is the anniversary of my death, fourteen years ago. It's also the anniversary of the day I realized that my mother really should have told me that, because she's deathly allergic to morphine, there's a good chance I would be too.

I try not to be too maudlin about it, though. Even though I was technically dead, it clearly didn't stick. I think I'll celebrate my deathday with waffles and Justice League Unlimited. That sounds appropriate.
