In an effort not to dwell on less pleasant things, here is a list of things I currently think are super rad:

-My friend Adam. What a guy. Nice to a fault. If you pooped in his hat, he's probably say thank you.

-Prototype. What an awesome fucking game. In the first ten minutes, I killed about fifty people, punched some tanks apart, then killed and ate a dude. If that's not entertainment, I don't know what is.

-My husband. He's so on top of things and organized, things I'm sorely lacking in. He's also a genuine pleasure to be around all the time. I married him because he's the only person I've never gotten sick of, even for a little bit.

-Food Cart Friday, in which Adam, Randy, my husband and I meet weekly to eat food off trucks.

-Nachos. Honestly, there has never been a more perfect food.

-Getting along with my sister. It's been a rocky thirty-some years, but we finally seem to be on the level.

-Mos Def. He put on a great show, sang the hell out of some really cool songs, and is actually quite an accomplished drummer. Plus, he's so adorable. I want to give him hugs.
