The blog homework is 5/8: What would you like to accomplish in the next year?
There are things i have already accomplished that help my next goals transition into the next step forward. I just moved into my first apartment ever with my best friend Kendra! It is so different and so great! I love living by my own schedule and my own principles. Things as simple as being able to smoke a joint in my room without worrying about displeasing my mom are the little things that make me happier! It is tough moving out from your parents, but at the same time I think it was the greatest thing for our relationship! We text more than ever now!
While I have lived in my new apartment with Kendra, I have also overcome the consistent streak of panic attacks that made me feel hopeless. Sometimes you just need that friend to lift you up and push you in the right direction. I love Kendra for that. I will always have some anxiety about everything, but I don't feel threatened by it anymore.
So what are my goals for the rest of 2015?
This summer I plan on making the best of my hometown, we have gorgeous summers. Lots of camping, kayaking, hulahooping, bonfires. All that fun stuff! I will not shelter myself when my mind lies to me and tells me that I am a burden. (Positive and assertive thinking will help calm the anxiety in your mind)
At the end of this month I'm watching two of my fans and my hair salon clients get married! They are such an inspiring couple!
In June I am going to my first baby shower for my cousin, none of my cousins have had kids yet!! I am so excited to have a new addition to the family, and am so happy for my cousin to find such a lovely lady! June 28th me and Kendra will be attending our first ever Gay Pride in NYC! This will be a life changing experience! So excited to be spending it with @circa and her amazing girlfriend Danielle! CANNOT CONTAIN MY EXCITEMENT!!!
July 4th weekend is the Great Blue Heron Music Festival in Sherman, PA. It's a lovely weekend surrounded by people with great energy and it's like one big tent village with drum circles, gutairs, beer, weed, and pretty ladies with jingle skirts, body paint and glitter 😍👍 bluegrass music is amazing there. It's nice taking a step back from electronics all weekend and just coexisting with human interaction. And it usually works out that around this time @thelabrat comes to my town and we shoot a set! No promises though 😽 sometime in July I also plan on making a trip to Cedar Point ( amusement park) with my friends. I love roller coasters 😻😻😻,!!! At the end of July Deftones are coming to my town finally to play a show!!! So excited to see one of my favorite bands for the first time 💕
In August Nick Offerman and Seinfeld are doing comedy shows at our local ice arena!!! Momma got us the tickets <333 they sold out super fast, we don't have much going on around here haha! Me and my Roomate are also going to see Between the Buried and Me, which if any of you know me well, you know that they are my favorite band ever and every time I go to see them it is like an out of body experience hahahahahhaha. Does metal turn anyone else on? Am I weird for that? But seriously they are so good live, not many bands I can say I prefer live over records. They knock it out of the park every time. The end of August I am crossing my little fingers that I can make Hell City Pheonix... But idk if I'll be able to afford that plane ticket 😣 I am going to try my very best to make it happen because it is such an amazing event!!!
September is crunch time. Possibly two shootfests with @brooklyn because it will most likely be the last time I will be able to travel the east coast for a while. So many amazing babes will be there <33 like my SG bestie @bittersweet😻😻😻 ugh I miss her so much it hurts. Possibly two multis 😁😁😁😁 I am pretty positive me and @circa will be making multi Magic at one of the shootfests 🙌🙌🙌 also somewhere in between I will be packing up my life to move to the west coast... Which brings me to ......
October will be the month when me, my Roomate Kendra, and my best friend Nicole (that just moved to Nevada 8 months ago) will be driving to meet each other at our new place in Colorado !!!! I can not fucking wait!! If any of you have advice for newbies in the CO definitely let me know!! Living with my favorite people in the world is going to be the experience that I will remember for the rest of my life!! And to make it even better I will be closer than ever before to @bittersweet😻😻. As far as jobs go, I plan on discontinuing my path in cosmetology and picking up a different profession. As an empath, doing hair is way too exhausting for my emotional and mental health. always wanted to get into graphic design or barbering ... Idk I am really just ready to start over. Possibly a job at a dispensary? That would be a dream 😻😻 looking at areas surrounding Denver.
Anyways I have a new set going into MR TODAY ! Me and @alissa shot this set last year and I can't wait to hear your guys' feedback <3 here's a preview
