I don't know if the concept of beauty is twofold, that is objective and subjective, maybe sometimes we confuse beauty with what we like, I know there is a saying "beauty is what you like", but personally I like things that I recognize are not beautiful and when I make a judgment, I always move away from my subjective view.
The thing that is pure beauty, in my opinion, is Nature. It's that kind of beauty that meets each of us innately, she gives me feelings of awe and wonder, this is why in most of my paintings I represent her minutely.

To me the definition of beauty is how much a thing approaches perfection, and perfection is defined as a state in which nothing can be changed except for the worse. In this way all kinds of very disparate things can be perfect, and all kinds of things can be beautiful. You can have beautiful chaos or beautiful order. Nature meets this definition very well: undisturbed natural land is an ecosystem perfectly suited to it's time and place, but the smallest change like a newly introduced insect or the most passing like a weather event can upset the whole thing.
