K, I gotta start this off like, I know nothing about the States. I know Manhattan rocks, I know San Diego has beaches, and that Bethesda, MD is a trifle boring.
But MAN. I have no clue what happens at all in Arizona. I don't even know what it looks like. For all I know, it's like...hardpan, sand and guns from what people tell me. And I guess it's like...I've met so many people from all different walks of life, and all of them have gone through Arizona for like a period in their lives. It's cool, but makes me wonder if I'm destined to stop through there at some point in my life...

I too have felt drawn to the Southwest, although I would rather go to New Mexico. The only thing that keeps me from indulging in that fantasy is the fact that I would feel claustrophobic without the ocean border. You should visit! Wait until fall though; I hear it's over 100 degrees in Phoenix right now.
