Went out last night and met a friend just for something to do. Had only planned on going for a quiet drink but ended up going to a club with a fancy dress party on.
So...with no real costume to speak of I quickly borrowed a pen, wrote on my hands, zipped up my close fitting jacket and became the scariest thing I could think of.
Chris Martin from Coldplay.
It was a big hit let me tell you. Nothing quite chills your soul like a tediously boring songsmith with pretentions!
There were quite a good few people who'd put in some serious efforts, the local Ann Summers (female owned lingerie/sextoy/sex-things retail chain) shop was completely cleaned out if the amount of young ladys in various nurses outfits and the like were anything to go by.
Of course not one of them were interested in Chris Martin, I mean he's hardly what the racy girls fall for. More the skinny painfully blonde wooden actress type.
There weren't many of those around, thank god.
At least it was a decent distraction, things have become so stale and hollow of late. Work to make money, to do what exactly? Nothing.
No-one to spend it on, which is usually a nice option I actually enjoy
Hmm.
Anyway, must find something positive and productive to do tomorrow on my well earned day off.
By the way, I'll leave you with what I did last year.
