*sigh*
I got the flu.
I don't hardly EVER get sick. SO this must be a purge, rather than any sort of ordinary illness. Always happens right after some major spiritual activity.
EDIT:
OMIGAWD!!!!
That should get your attention.
I REALLY must insist you check the following trailers out:
For anyone who loved the old badly-dubbed kung-fu movies, check out this trailer for 'Shaolin Soccer':
http://www.apple.com/trailers/miramax/shaolin_soccer-tlr3.html
For fans of The Hulk and anyone not in a coma who has noticed the trend in Superhero films:
http://www.apple.com/trailers/universal/the_hulk/trailer_5/
Everyone should however keep an eye and an ear open for Hellboy the movie. What i am going to love about this film is a general ANti-CG stanc, it's all old-skool Jim Baker latex art.
For my tryptamine this might be interesting simply because it's based in Iceland:
http://www.apple.com/trailers/independent/the_sea.html
For the coolest 60's sex comedy revival and a movie that brings the art of SHAG (Juxtapoz readers will know) to life:
http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox/down_with_love/clips/
Cate Blanchett is beautiful in a unique way and very talented. She seems to have pulled off a flawless Irish accent (but I'm no judge really) and she's in this incredible movie based on a true story:
http://www.apple.com/trailers/touchstone/veronica_guerin/
I love movies about real life good guys challenging conspiracies of silence. JFK by Oliver Stone kicked ass.
And now a great looking comedy about a really good subject we all obsess about:
http://www.apple.com/trailers/focus_features/theshapeofthings/
I better just kill this journal here, I'm sure you can't all have that much time in the world to just view Quicktime trailers all day. I'll leave with one I'm going to send my sister. It's a warm and cute New Zealand film...I have always admired the Maori War Dance...gets my juices flowing:
