I am amazed at the prices for high-tech items these days. I just ordered a brand spanking new HP Deskjet 5550. It's the cheapest model with that 'HP Photosmart' standard. It's a very pretty design too. Before tax and freight it's all of US$125 fucking dollars!!! wow!
I decided I am putting off getting a nice midi keyboard until much later. for now I'll putz around on fruity loops till I can actually do something with it. A color printer I can use pretty much immediately for a variety of artistic things like cool CD labels. I got this cool CD labelling software that came with a pack of premade stickers.
