So, despite that @missy and @rambo are keen to know our Summer plans... I unfortunately have another two months to go before it starts to warm up here.
So my middle of winter plans are to join Camp NaNoWriMo July 2014 and write a novel in a month. I am going to do it. I will do it.
I am hoping to write the first book in a crime series I have been wanting to write for many years. It is set in Durban, and is turning out to be a strange mix of Miss Marple, Charlie Parker, Clarice Starling and Hannibal (Authors: Agatha Christie, John Connolly, and Thomas Harris). My first day has not been so great, only 1048 words. I am hoping the story flows a little better tomorrow.
On top of that, it is the official Lego Movie DVD release which we will be running a promo for. As well as a Minifigure Meet and Swop.
The end of the month, there is a whole birthday thing where I will be turning 27.
So those are my July plans. That and cuddling under warm blankets with hot chocolate, a good book and the boy thing.
Oh, and there is a new Durban Metal Band on the scene. That is part of my holiday plans too.
