So, Dad had foot reconstruction surgery. He is now an amputee because they had to remove part of his gross semi-deformed big toe for balance issues.

However, they sent him for an emergency MRI. Could be for a stroke, or tumor. Who knows. I am still in favor that the heady combination of drugs my darling dad is on is what is causing his reduced reflexes and dizzy spells but I don't have a degree in medicine. I am also arguing that my dad is not depressed as the man wouldn't know how to be depressed if you show him and they are treating the wrong thing. Once again, i am looking at thing holistically rather than singularly. I think I need to chat to my dads shrink. I mean, it is easy enough as she is my shrink.

so, the drama with my father continues. I get to look after him at home for a week (and by look after I mean stop my mom and sister from having a panic attack every time the man looks like he is in pain or if he needs to go to the loo).

I did however do this blog to share a video which is from the accent challenge thread on the silliness board. Yeah yeah yeah, bit behind the times but there needs to be more SA accents. However, I am an English speaking SA girl so sorry. dustINK did one as well if you want to compare accents although I think ours are pretty similar.
