The alarm has been set to oldies in the morning. Most days the snooze-button offers ten 1-line glimpses into the day. Whether crooning songs of yesteryear or, like today, the announcement of Spring, it prepares me for the day. I am still wearing my scummy long-johns, but there was half the chill out. Wearing 2 pairs of pants for 6 months of the year creates a security blanket of hibernation for me. Like never leaving the bed in the morning, its the feeling of blankets all the time. Sometimes I dont change them for days which perpetuates a lack of socializing. Spring will give air to my skin, and to this life again.
This is my first real Spring in Toronto. Last year I was held hostage. This year I am free to explore this city with my love. Find ample parks to smoke pot in, or maybe hop a train to Scarborough. Maybe.

Yeah the alarm is funny. I like when we wake up and laugh together.
